Create a Curriculum

To create a new Course Catalog or Mapping curriculum in the LMS go to Resources > Maintain Course Catalog or Maintain Mapping Curricula. The appropriate Maintain Curricula screen will open.

Click the New button in the toolbar to create a new curriculum. The new curriculum will open with three sub-tabs.

In the Overview tab, enter a curriculum title. This title will only be visible to other administrators who have access to this screen.

Check the Active box when you are ready for the curriculum to be visible in the Course Catalog or for the Mapping Curricula to be used.

Enter a description, if desired.

Click on the Audience tab to set up the defined audience for this curricula.

Modify or Deactivate a Curriculum

To modify or deactivate an existing curriculum, go to Resources > Maintain Course Catalog or Maintain Mapping Curricula. Select the desired curricula and click Edit.

Modify the curriculum's overview, resources and requirement options, directory structure, and audience mapping as needed.

To deactivate the curriculum, uncheck the Active checkbox on the Overview tab.

Deleting a Curriculum

It is not recommended that you delete a curriculum unless it has never been active nor used by any user. If it has, it is recommended that you make the curriculum inactive as described above.

To delete a curriculum, go to Resources > Maintain Mapping Curricula or Maintain Course Catalog. Select the curriculum you want to delete and click Delete in the toolbar.

A confirmation pop-up window will display. If you are sure you wish to delete the curriculum, click OK.
